ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 18, 2019, ABOUT 7:30 AM WHILE DRIVING ON A 3 LANE HIGHWAY GOING ABOUT 55 MPH DURING A HEAVY RAIN DOWNPOUR, MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. The brake system is locking up different wheels because the module thinks traction has been lost. This caused my daughter to spin around and go off the road. The part is on back order through gm - I have tried to obtain one from other sources with no luck - all the parts places I spoke to have been waiting on these for months which tells me there is a lot of cars affected.
