What eyewitnesses reported

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the blue Audi hit the motorcycle, with the impact sending the motorcyclist and his pillion rider flying, before hitting a black car. One witness, Syazwani, told The Straits Times that she saw the Audi driver unbuckle his seatbelt and hop out of the vehicle, appearing to be uninjured. Another woman, who also appeared uninjured, was next to him, though she looked shaken and was unable to walk.

Syazwani recalled that the driver had to drag the woman up by the armpits, and that she heard loud music playing from inside the car. She checked on the other people involved in the crash and recalled seeing the pair stumbling away from the road towards a grass patch when she looked back. The motorcyclist and his pillion rider were lying face down on the ground and were unresponsive when she got to them, Syazwani recalled.

Another eyewitness, Natassja, said that when the ambulance arrived, the man and the woman in the blue Audi were no longer at the scene, and they had run away.
